Welcome!
We have been offering high quality preschool programs for three to five year old children in the Strathcona Community Centre since 1985. Thank you to all the families in Strathcona and surrounding areas for your support over the last 40 years!
We believe children, like seeds….will grow, develop and bloom in an atmosphere where they are loved and nurtured. Our long term, teachers have over 75 years of experience combined and are highly educated in early childhood development.
Our programs are specifically designed to set up young scholars for future academic, emotional and social success. Our proven successful curriculum creates a balance between high energy activities and quiet times, creative self-expression and group activities, meeting the individual needs of each child.
We offer early intervention services for speech and/or language delay, ESL, occupational therapy, behaviour and educational services, at no additional cost.
Upon request, certified professionals approved by Alberta Education will conduct speech and language screenings. Certified therapists will be supplied for registered children who demonstrate a need, at no additional cost. A consent for observation is required.
A Child’s Garden Preschool provides an environment that sets the roots for growth.
